I really liked Gyatrul. The only time that I met him (alas) in L.A. during the 80s, he threw a grape at me while we were chatting! That cracked me up. He had a great sense of humor -- often found in Lamas with realization. This book of his is decpetively simple in that he really covers the whole path all the way to fruition, yet it's so natural and palatable. Great explanations of the Dzogchen practice. You couldn't find this stuff in print in the 70s , 80s and 90s. A treasure of a book from a realized lama that I will read and re-read for the rest of my life.
